When we discuss "how to meet women" and "men and relationships", the first conversation with a woman is an area I frequently get queries on. In particular, what do you do if you have a great initial encounter with someone you are attracted to only to find out that she is already relating to another person? Should you basically begin each chat with "Are you seeing someone?"

In my opinion, I never ask a woman about her relationship state. It shows a lack of total confidence to do so. But, I study signals and flirt somewhat to see how they react. Also just because someone is "seeing" someone doesn't mean they are in a committed relationship and aren't attracted to interacting with you.

Notice the signals that a woman shows you in a conversation. Is she just being polite talking to you or is she actually keen on you? If she is in another love relationship she will possibly talk to you but won't try to create any future with you (see you again). She might be a little aloof and get much more so when you try to flirt.

If a woman is specifically interested in you she will flirt back and give you some clues that she wants to see you again. She will suggest doing something or meeting or conversing or getting together. She will indicate how she basically loved talking to you, at which stage, you could suggest that you should talk again or some more and ask for her phone number.

If you are observant you can figure out very quickly if a female is flirting with you or if she is simply being polite. Now if she is keen on you, and you show confidence enough to not ask if she is seeing somebody else, you will usually score a few points with her.
